Since 1981, Middfest International has promoted understanding around the world, one country at a time, one person at a time. Creative……learn why their open and innovative society has kept them in the vanguard from the time of the Old Dutch masters to contemporary architecture design and urban planning. In the spotlight: Dutch dancers and musicians joined by international performers from Brazil, India, China & many more! Visit the International Food Court (20 vendors), a Dutch “brown café” and the food demonstration booth. Drop by Genealogy/Historical Center. While there, follow the Dutch migration from the Netherlands to New Jersey and onto southwest Ohio to join the ranks of first families. Check your Middfest weekend schedule for not to be missed offerings in six Exhibits, Conversations, Literature and Film Centers. Stop by Youth Park, World Bazaar and The Dutch Flower Market. Christine Brunner will direct the Middfest International production of The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodridge and Herbert Hackett. Set in wartime Amsterdam, it will travel during the month of September 2007.
